Clay refractory bricks are refractory products with AL2O3 content of 30-48% made of clay clinker as aggregate and refractory clay as binder.
Clay bricks are divided into ordinary clay bricks, multi-clinker clay bricks, all-raw clay bricks and high-siliceous clay bricks.
Ordinary clay bricks refer to varieties with AL2O3 content between 36-42%, with high output and wide application. Its output accounts for more than 60% of the total output of refractory materials in China. Ordinary clay bricks are made of soft clay with strong plasticity and high dispersibility and a part of clay clinker. Broadly divided into clay --- clinker brick and kaolin --- clinker brick. Their main high-temperature properties are refractoriness, the special grade product is greater than 1750°C, the first-grade product is 1730-1750°C, the second-grade product is 1670-1730°C, and the third-grade product is 1580-1670°C.
Multi-clinker clay brick refers to refractory brick products containing more than 80% clinker and less than 20% combined clay. Since most of the raw materials of multi-clinker clay bricks are in a ridged state, they are not easy to deform during the manufacturing process, which can ensure the shape and size of the brick embryo, so that the fired products have a relatively ideal volume density, mechanical strength, thermal shock stability and relatively high refractoriness.
All-raw clay bricks, also known as clinker-free clay bricks, are made of hard clay or pyrophyllite with low plasticity, weak dispersion and little shrinkage. Because this kind of raw material inherently has little combined moisture, although a certain amount of added moisture is given after crushing, the original particle composition can still be maintained, so no additional clinker can be added. Moreover, the fired finished product will not shrink due to the absence of clinker.
1. Low Bulk Density and Low Heat Capacity
The heating and cooling time of the kiln is greatly shortened; the low heat conduction effectively saves the fuel cost in the furnace.
2. Thermal Shock Resistance
It has good thermal shock resistance; anti-airflow erosion; good mechanical strength; built-in metal anchors, good safety performance; easy installation, etc.
3. Application Scope
It is used in heating furnaces, continuous annealing furnaces, kiln cars, ladle covers, etc. and used in iron and steel enterprises, as well as annealing furnaces, normalizing furnaces, tempering furnaces, soaking furnaces, etc. for heat treatment.
4. Support Customization
Clay refractory bricks are generally divided into standard type, general type, and special type, and can also be customized according to user needs.
5. Scope of Application:
Iron and steel, metallurgical industry
Coking kiln industry
cement kiln industry
glass industry
petrochemical industry
Carbon industry
